Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is a contract position ideally suited for dedicated professionals passionate about making a positive impact in a school setting. You will work directly with students, providing vital one-on-one behavioral support, all within a collaborative environment under the regular supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on site.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RBT license in California (required)
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Experience providing one-on-one support to children with diverse behavioral needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical and professional standards
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral interventions to elementary-age students in a school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, BCBA, and other professionals to implement and adjust student behavior plans
  • Maintain detailed, confidential session notes and progress documentation
  • Interact and communicate patiently and effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing supervision with the on-site BCBA
