A unique contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician to support students for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is full-time, running from ASAP through June 5, 2026, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in a schools’ satellite program, working with a caseload of up to 28 students.
In this position, you’ll work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. With only one opening, this assignment is ideal for a skilled RBT who thrives in dynamic school environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings
- Familiarity with supporting students who have diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to maintain composure, empathy, and professionalism in a classroom setting
- Experience supporting students in both instructional and non-instructional settings is advantageous
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to classrooms during both instructional periods and lunch breaks
- Work closely with educators and other support staff to implement behavior intervention plans
- Support a caseload of up to 28 students as part of a satellite program
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students
- Collect and report data related to student progress and interventions
- Assist in maintaining a structured and emotionally safe classroom environment
