Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Registered Behavior Technician for the 2026/2027 school year. In this full-time position, you’ll make a meaningful difference by offering direct, 1:1 behavioral support to students within a collaborative school environment.
You’ll benefit from a structured Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., ensuring consistent hours and the ability to engage fully with your students. Partnering closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll have on-site supervision and the chance to further develop your skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in the state of California
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Knowledge of implementing behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Ability to provide compassionate, individualized support in a 1:1 setting
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Support assigned elementary students using evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Implement behavior intervention plans under direct supervision from a BCBA
- Collect data accurately and promptly on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to sharpen your expertise
