As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide one-on-one and group interventions, empowering students to achieve their goals and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current RBT certification in good standing
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude in engaging with diverse learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly implement ABA-based interventions and behavior plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect data on student behaviors, progress, and intervention outcomes
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate strategies across different classroom settings
  • Engage students in skill-building activities aimed at improving academic, social, and daily living skills
  • Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
