As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, you’ll work collaboratively with educators and support staff to provide one-on-one and group interventions, empowering students to achieve their goals and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification in good standing
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability, patience, and a positive attitude in engaging with diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Directly implement ABA-based interventions and behavior plans as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect data on student behaviors, progress, and intervention outcomes
- Collaborate with instructional staff to integrate strategies across different classroom settings
- Engage students in skill-building activities aimed at improving academic, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate session notes and documentation in compliance with school and professional standards
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
