We’re seeking a dedicated professional to work with an elementary student (male) requiring behavioral support, including managing work avoidance, utilizing verbal redirection, and safely addressing aggression when escalated. This part-time assignment is currently 2 hours daily, with the potential for full-time hours as opportunities expand.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
  • Experience supporting children or students with behavioral and/or developmental needs, ideally in a school setting
  • Comfort with implementing BCBA-directed behavior plans
  • Ability to apply positive reinforcement, verbal redirection, and de-escalation strategies
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Patience, compassion, and flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support as directed by a supervising BCBA
  • Follow individualized behavior intervention plans with fidelity
  • Track and record data on student progress and behaviors
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a supportive environment
  • Support students in developing coping skills and classroom participation
  • Maintain a professional, empathetic, and proactive approach at all times
