Located near Roebuck, SC, you’ll play a key role in fostering positive behavioral changes for elementary-aged students.

This part-time assignment runs from 8:45 to 10:15 each day, with a strong likelihood of additional hours as needs arise. You will work primarily with a male elementary student, implementing behavioral strategies in a 2:1 setting, focusing on addressing work avoidance, providing verbal redirections, and managing aggressive behaviors when escalations occur. Collaboration with a BCBA and ongoing guidance ensure your interventions are effective and professionally rewarding.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Previous experience supporting students in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, especially verbal redirection and de-escalation techniques
• Comfortable navigating work avoidance behaviors and managing aggressive incidents
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving caseload environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must be able to provide two professional references and a BCBA reference

Essential Responsibilities:

• Work closely with an elementary student in a 2:1 setting to implement individualized behavior support plans
• Employ strategies to address work avoidance and escalate interventions appropriately if aggression occurs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervising BCBA
• Participate in team meetings and contribute feedback on student progress
• Adapt interventions as caseload needs may grow
