Registered Behavior Technician - Sacramento, CA

Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Prior experience as an RBT or in behavioral intervention within school settings highly desirable
• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and collect accurate data
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting students with diverse needs

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones
• Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors consistently
• Collaborate with classroom staff to support academic and social development
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
• Communicate progress with teachers, school staff, and family members
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines at all times
