Apply NowMake a meaningful difference in students’ lives by supporting their emotional and behavioral growth as a Registered Behavior Technician for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! In this contract opportunity, you’ll work part-time (15 hours per week) with young learners, putting your expertise into action to help them develop coping strategies and master de-escalation techniques. You’ll be an integral part of student progress, collaborating on Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). There is also a potential opportunity to continue during the Extended School Year (ESY) to provide continuity of care.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques in a school setting and is eager to engage individually with students. While the role is primarily school-based, comfort with occasional in-home service provision is a welcomed plus.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Demonstrated experience applying ABA therapy techniques in hands-on settings
- Familiarity with FBAs and BIPs
- Background working with children or students in behavior support roles
- Strong communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work part-time hours with a flexible, student-focused approach
- Comfort with the possibility of providing in-home services is appreciated, but not required
