Registered Behavior Technician - Salem, OR

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician looking to make a positive impact in elementary and middle school settings! This full-time, contract position offers a chance to work directly with students exhibiting intense behaviors, both one-on-one and in group environments. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is located near Salem, OR.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Previous experience supporting students in educational settings, particularly with behavioral or autism support
• Familiarity with elementary and middle school age populations
• Confidence managing intense and challenging behaviors with a calm, supportive approach
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working alongside teachers, therapists, and families
• Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 and group behavioral support to students as outlined in behavior intervention plans
• Collect data and document student progress and behavioral observations
• Implement strategies using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collaborate with classroom teams to ensure consistent and effective support for students
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development as needed
• Foster a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for all learners
