Middle School Certified Registered Behavior Technician in Salem, OR

Desired Qualifications:

• Current RBT certification and active license required
• Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school preferred
• Skilled in 1:1 behavioral support and implementation of behavior intervention plans
• Strong communication skills when interacting with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt strategies to suit varied age groups and individual needs
• Reliable, flexible, and committed to fostering an inclusive, positive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to students as outlined in individualized plans
• Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to monitor progress and adjust interventions
• Document sessions, progress, and behavioral data to inform ongoing strategies
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and achievement
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards in all interactions
