A school district in San Jose, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position involves working with multiple elementary students to support their behavioral and educational development in a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and document data to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
- Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Utilize Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) strategies as preferred
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RBT certification is required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- CPI training is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and flexible in dynamic school settings

- Position is based in San Jose, CA
