This contract opportunity is located near Salinas, CA, and runs for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. Enjoy a standard school day schedule (35-40 hours per week), following the district’s bell times, with multiple caseload options available. Most assignments involve working in 1:1 or 2:1 settings with students in elementary grades who have diverse support needs. Hourly rates range from $30-$34 depending on experience.
The ideal candidate brings:
- At least one year of school-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience
- Active or inactive Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (supervision by a BCBA is provided)
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation training
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from school sites
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct ABA interventions to students as outlined in their behavior plans
- Foster positive student relationships and promote behavioral growth
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and supervising BCBA
- Participate in training and professional development for ongoing skills enhancement
- Document session notes and communicate progress to the educational team
