Position Details
- Location: Salinas, CA
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- Schedule: 35 hours per week
- Setting: Elementary School District
- Student Population: Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten Autism Classrooms through 4th Grade
- BCBA Supervision: Provided by the district's on-site BCBA team
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
- Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support.
- Collect and document behavioral data accurately.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff.
- Support students in developing communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Experience working with students exhibiting high-intensity/high-magnitude behaviors is strongly preferred.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- School-based experience is a plus but not required.
