We are seeking multiple Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join an exceptional elementary school district in Salinas, CA. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with autism and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

This district stands out for its incredibly supportive on-site BCBA team—one of the strongest clinical support systems available. You'll receive ongoing mentorship and supervision from experienced district BCBAs while working alongside a dedicated team committed to student success.

Position Details

  • Location: Salinas, CA
  • Start Date: August 3, 2026
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week
  • Setting: Elementary School District
  • Student Population: Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten Autism Classrooms through 4th Grade
  • BCBA Supervision: Provided by the district's on-site BCBA team

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support.
  • Collect and document behavioral data accurately.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff.
  • Support students in developing communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (or eligible to obtain).
  • Experience working with students exhibiting high-intensity/high-magnitude behaviors is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • School-based experience is a plus but not required.
