Make a difference as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based setting near Salt Lake City, UT. In this contract position, you'll use your expertise to support students with behavioral needs, ensuring they have the resources and interventions necessary to succeed in the classroom. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RBT credential, in good standing
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or clinical setting
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans with consistency and professionalism
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, educators, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in meeting the unique needs of each student
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with a passion for making a positive impact
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral interventions to students as outlined in individualized behavior plans
- Collect data meticulously and maintain thorough records on student progress and behaviors
- Assist in implementing classroom management and proactive support strategies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide input during team meetings to discuss student progress and adapt interventions as needed
