Two Registered Behavior Technicians Needed for Full-Time Contract in San Jose, CA

A school district in San Jose, CA is seeking two experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide intensive behavioral support for high-needs students during the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours Monday through Friday, with potential to continue into the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions and support for students exhibiting significant externalizing behaviors
  • Manage caseloads consisting of students attending school part-time (2-3 hours daily)
  • Provide additional behavioral assistance on an as-needed basis in classrooms or school-wide settings
  • Collaborate with the school team and director to implement effective behavior plans and monitor progress

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Strong experience supporting students with high behavioral needs
  • Ability to work effectively in school environments, maintaining patience and professionalism with students
  • Skilled at behavior data collection and implementing individualized behavior interventions
  • Flexibility and reliability to fulfill daily hours and adapt to changing needs

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Approximately 6 to 6.5 hours per day depending on assignment
  • Position based in San Jose, CA
  • Immediate start with contract through June 12, 2026, with potential to extend into the next school year
