Support students in their learning journey as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience in educational settings. This contract position, located in the vibrant area near San Jose, CA, seeks a skilled professional ready to contribute their expertise in behavior interventions within a school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RBT certification
- Previous RBT experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record accurate behavioral data as required
- Support students in reaching social, behavioral, and academic goals
- Provide feedback to the supervising BCBA and other team members
- Adapt strategies to meet unique student needs and classroom environments
- Communicate professionally with staff and families regarding student progress
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
