Support students in their learning journey as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience in educational settings. This contract position, located in the vibrant area near San Jose, CA, seeks a skilled professional ready to contribute their expertise in behavior interventions within a school environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RBT certification
  • Previous RBT experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect and record accurate behavioral data as required
  • Support students in reaching social, behavioral, and academic goals
  • Provide feedback to the supervising BCBA and other team members
  • Adapt strategies to meet unique student needs and classroom environments
  • Communicate professionally with staff and families regarding student progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
