Registered Behavior Technician - San Mateo, CA

Exciting opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician to work in a dynamic satellite program for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year! This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through June 5, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

As part of a collaborative educational team, you’ll provide vital behavior support to classrooms and students throughout instructional periods and during lunch. You’ll serve up to 28 students, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially those with behavioral needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and punctuality in a school setting
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small-group behavioral support in classroom settings
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized behavior plans
• Assist students during instructional activities and lunchtime, promoting positive behaviors
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioral data as requested
• Provide proactive strategies to help students meet their social and academic goals
