Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Sandy, Utah

Make a difference working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational environment close to Sandy, UT. This contract role is a great way for a skilled RBT to provide meaningful support to students, contribute to their progress, and partner with a collaborative team dedicated to student success. You’ll work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver high-quality behavioral health interventions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience supporting children or adolescents with autism or behavioral challenges in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with implementing treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with a diverse student population
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-oriented in challenging situations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and collect accurate data on student progress
• Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups to promote positive behaviors and academic engagement
• Provide support and coaching to classroom staff and family members as directed
• Maintain detailed records and collaborate in progress meetings
• Adapt strategies and interventions as instructed by the supervising BCBA
• Uphold student confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards
