Registered Behavior Technician in Santa Ana, CA

Step into a meaningful and rewarding school-based role as a Registered Behavior Technician working one-on-one with a high school student with autism. This full-time contract opportunity offers a supportive environment, with oversight from an experienced BCBA. The position provides the chance to make a true impact in a student's day-to-day progress, all while refining your skills as a dedicated RBT.

Key qualifications:

• Active National Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with high school students strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing 1:1 intervention and behavioral support for students on the autism spectrum
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Immediate availability to start and able to commit to a month-to-month contract

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, individualized behavioral support based on student-specific IEP goals and BCBA guidance
• Track and document progress, behavioral data, and intervention outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the supervising BCBA to optimize student participation and progress within the high school environment
• Maintain the highest professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical practice at all times
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
