Two full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are needed to provide specialized support in a school setting located in Santa Cruz, CA, for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, with potential to continue through the 2026-2027 school year. These positions require dedication to working with high-needs students exhibiting significant externalizing behaviors, offering intensive, individualized assistance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct behavioral support to students attending school part-day (2-3 hours/day)
  • Providing additional behavioral assistance on an as-needed basis within classrooms or across the school site
  • Collaborating with educational teams to implement behavior intervention plans
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Maintaining compliance with professional and ethical standards for Registered Behavior Technicians

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Proven experience working intensively with students who have complex behavioral challenges
  • Ability to manage and support externalizing behaviors effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment

Schedule and Location:

  • Monday through Friday, full-time; 6 to 6.5 hours per day depending on the position specifics
  • Based in Santa Cruz, California
  • Contract assignment beginning ASAP through June 12, 2026, with potential extension opportunities
