Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Santa Cruz, California

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RBT certification
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Familiarity with implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to follow directives from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Adaptable, patient, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group behavioral support in classroom and school environments
• Implement and document individualized intervention strategies under BCBA supervision
• Collect, track, and report data accurately to monitor student progress
• Foster a supportive atmosphere focused on skill-building and confident social interaction
• Assist with the development and modification of instructional materials as directed
• Maintain open, ongoing communication with the instructional team and families
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
