Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Aide

Soliant Education | Contract Position | 30 Hours per Week

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Aide to support an elementary-aged student in a small, supportive school district. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about helping students with autism develop confidence, independence, and success in the classroom.

Position Details

• Location: School-based setting within a small district
• Schedule: 30 hours per week
• Assignment: 1:1 support for a 5th-grade male student
• Contract Position: Through Soliant Education
• Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized behavioral and academic support throughout the school day
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and support plans as directed
• Foster student independence by encouraging self-advocacy and confidence-building
• Support social, behavioral, and academic goals while avoiding over-dependence on adult assistance
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required

Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

• Active or recently inactive RBT certification preferred
• Candidates with an inactive certification pending supervision requirements are encouraged to apply
• Experience supporting students with autism and behavioral needs required

Behavior Aide

• Previous experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral challenges
• Ability to build positive relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
