This per diem role seeks skilled professionals with experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or paraprofessional, with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives. You’ll play a vital role in fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment as you support students and staff on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or paraprofessional experience in educational or behavioral settings
  • Valid OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s Degree required
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations (K–12)
  • Strong communication skills and a supportive, flexible attitude
  • Capacity to adapt quickly in various classroom settings and work collaboratively with educators

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and group behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of classroom teachers or BCBA
  • Collect and document student data and progress, following individualized education or behavior intervention plans
  • Promote positive classroom management techniques and reinforce appropriate behavior
  • Support teachers with classroom activities and provide intervention when students require behavioral support
  • Ensure a safe and encouraging environment for all students while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
