Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or paraprofessional experience in educational or behavioral settings
- Valid OSPI Paraeducator Certification or an Associate’s Degree required
- Ability to work with diverse student populations (K–12)
- Strong communication skills and a supportive, flexible attitude
- Capacity to adapt quickly in various classroom settings and work collaboratively with educators
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of classroom teachers or BCBA
- Collect and document student data and progress, following individualized education or behavior intervention plans
- Promote positive classroom management techniques and reinforce appropriate behavior
- Support teachers with classroom activities and provide intervention when students require behavioral support
- Ensure a safe and encouraging environment for all students while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
