Embark on an engaging opportunity supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a welcoming school district near Sequim, WA. This contract position, available for the 26/27 academic year, offers the chance to make a significant impact by helping learners thrive. The district is seeking two dedicated RBTs to work full-time with students, following established treatment plans and helping develop crucial skills for success.

As an RBT, you’ll work directly with clients in various educational settings. Using evidence-based practices, your role is central to helping students build communication, social, and daily living skills. Collaboration with BCBAs and educators ensures you’re always supported in fostering positive change.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate required
  • Experience working with children or students in home, school, or clinical settings preferred
  • Understanding of ABA principles and a passion for helping youth
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans as designed by a BCBA
  • Provide direct ABA therapy in a classroom or small-group environment
  • Use positive reinforcement to encourage student growth and manage behaviors
  • Record and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Teach and support development of communication, social, and life skills
  • Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding progress and strategies

This full-time contract position offers competitive hourly rates ranging from $26–33, plus a robust benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and 401(k) match.
