Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RBT certification required
  • Experience in school settings strongly preferred
  • Skilled in verbal redirection and behavior intervention strategies
  • Comfortable working 2:1 with students exhibiting work avoidance and escalated behaviors, including aggression
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills with school staff and families
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • BCBA support is available to guide intervention strategies

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with an elementary-aged male student, under BCBA supervision
  • Employ evidence-based ABA interventions in real-time classroom scenarios
  • Utilize verbal redirection techniques to address work avoidance and challenging behaviors
  • Collect data and accurately document student progress
  • Participate actively in team meetings and provide input for behavior intervention planning
  • Foster positive relationships to promote academic and social-emotional growth
