Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students in an educational setting as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This position is full-time, serving onsite near Spanaway, WA, with a commitment now through June 10, 2027. Both 35-hour-per-week and 40-hour-per-week schedules are available, providing flexibility based on your preference.
Work closely with students who benefit from behavioral support in school environments. One of the roles offers the opportunity to assist a specific student, which includes accompanying them on the school bus. Alternatively, you may contribute to special programs designed to foster student growth and success. Exact grade level assignments will be determined upon placement.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Washington State licensure or credentialing
- Completed fingerprinting through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is highly valued
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and students
- Flexibility to work 35–40 hours per week, onsite
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support educational and behavioral goals
- Collect data and report on student progress
- Collaborate with school staff and special programs as assigned
- Provide consistent, compassionate support to students, including occasional transportation assistance
