Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Spicewood, Texas

This contract-based position focuses on providing one-on-one behavioral support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within an elementary school setting. You’ll work closely with a gifted and talented (GT) male student who exhibits high attention-seeking behaviors, offering encouragement, structure, and guidance throughout the school day.

In this hands-on role, you’ll implement behavior intervention strategies and collaborate with educators to foster progress tailored specifically to the needs of this student. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience supporting elementary-age children, preferably in a school environment
• SAMA certification essential
• Familiarity with positive reinforcement and individualized behavioral intervention plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, compassion, and adaptability to respond to a variety of day-to-day challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions to a 3rd-grade male student during school hours
• Support academic engagement and appropriate classroom behavior
• Record daily behavioral data and progress notes
• Work in partnership with teachers, specialists, and school staff
• Maintain professional and confidential communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure a safe, positive atmosphere that values and encourages student growth

This position follows a regular school-day schedule from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, making it ideal for professionals who excel in structured environments and are eager to create impactful change.
