Step into an exciting opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, working in a supportive educational setting near Sunnyvale, CA. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of students for the 2025/2026 academic year. You'll work full-time from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day, from now through June 5, 2026.

In this role, you will join a dedicated team in a Satellite Program designed to serve up to 28 students. Your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician will help foster student growth, both academically and socially, as you provide essential support in various classrooms throughout the school day, including assisting during instructional periods and lunch.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Previous experience working with children in school-based or clinical settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers and support staff
  • Adaptable and reliable, with a passion for helping students succeed
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom activities, ensuring students remain engaged and on task
  • Assist with the social and behavioral needs of the caseload throughout the day
  • Attend to individual student needs as directed by teachers and supervisors
  • Collaborate actively with educational professionals to promote a safe, positive environment
  • Provide assistance during lunch and break periods, fostering inclusion and independence
