This full-time contract position offers the satisfying opportunity to help shape young lives as part of a specialized satellite program serving up to 28 students. You’ll work closely with students and educators, lending expertise and personalized support throughout both instructional and lunch periods.
As an RBT, you’ll support various classrooms, collaborating with teachers and related service providers to reinforce positive behaviors, facilitate learning, and nurture each student’s independence and growth. Your commitment and compassion will ensure every learner receives the care and encouragement needed to thrive.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with children or students in educational or behavioral settings preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and respond with empathy and patience
- Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support during classroom instruction and lunch periods
- Reinforce established behavioral goals and implement intervention strategies under supervision
- Assist with classroom management, helping students stay focused and engaged
- Collect and document behavior data in accordance with program guidelines
- Work supportively within classrooms to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere
This role follows the school calendar, with hours from 8:30 am – 3 pm and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The assignment runs from now through June 5, 2026, offering a rewarding, stable opportunity to contribute to student success.
