Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and implementation
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or therapeutic environments
- Strong observation and data collection skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a difference
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral interventions under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Support students in classroom and school settings, promoting positive behavior and academic engagement
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Model appropriate social, communication, and adaptive skills
- Accurately record and report data on student progress and behaviors
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to help shape effective strategies
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
