Registered Behavior Technician - Tacoma, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid RBT certification recognized by the BACB
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices and data collection techniques
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse student needs and changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and display a high degree of professionalism

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one or small group ABA therapy sessions to students as outlined in individualized treatment plans
• Accurately collect and record data on student behaviors and intervention outcomes
• Implement behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Support classroom teachers and school staff in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate student progress and concerns with team members and families
• Participate in training and professional development activities to stay current with best practices
