Seeking an experienced professional to provide behavioral support in an elementary school setting on a contract basis, covering a maternity leave assignment. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active BCBA or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students, ideally within a school environment
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate the school environment and respond to changing student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for elementary students
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Coach and support teachers in evidence-based behavior management techniques
- Participate in team meetings to develop and review student goals
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing positive behavior and social skills
- Ensure appropriate documentation and adherence to ethical guidelines
