Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician, working closely with a first grade student for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll work full-time, averaging between 32.5 and 37.5 hours per week, from August 2026 through June 2027. Your skills will be invaluable as you deliver one-on-one support, helping develop and implement strategies that encourage learning and positive behaviors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working in a school setting or with children preferred
- Strong skills in implementing behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to meeting individual student needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families, and other team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to a first grade student
- Collaborate with teachers and supervisory staff to implement individualized behavior plans
- Accurately document and track progress and behaviors
- Adjust approaches as needed to ensure student is meeting goals
- Foster a nurturing, consistent, and supportive learning environment
