Registered Behavior Technician - Upper Darby, PA

This contract role offers immediate placement through June 2027, with 35 hours per week on-site at local schools within an urban setting. Multiple positions are available, supporting either an Autistic Support classroom for grades K-2 or a middle school assignment, depending on your skills and experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, maintained independently of district supervision
• Prior experience working in school-based settings is required
• Comfortable supporting Special Education students and those with behavioral challenges
• Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and caseloads
• Must possess or obtain all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation to site locations is necessary
• Strong professional references are required
• For selected middle school positions, only male RBTs will be considered
• Willingness to participate in a brief (15-minute) Zoom interview
• Paraprofessionals will not be considered for these openings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group ABA services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult and collaborate with classroom staff, related service providers, and families
• Collect and document behavioral data to support student progress and guide intervention strategies
• Flexibly adjust to varied daily needs and contribute to a positive, supportive environment
