Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Upper Darby, Pennsylvania

Opportunities are available in elementary Autistic Support classrooms (grades K-2) and in a middle school setting, with specific slots for male candidates to support identified student needs. These assignments are onsite, contract-based, and extend through June 2027, providing stability and a collaborative educational environment.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, with the ability to maintain certification outside the district if needed
• Prior school-based experience, with comfort supporting special education and behaviorally challenged students
• Reliable transportation for daily commute
• Ability to obtain or complete all required PA clearances before starting
• Willingness to work flexibly in response to changing instructional needs
• Comfortable working in urban school settings
• Strong professional references
• Willingness to disclose relevant information upfront regarding district assignment and certification
• Ability to specify the desired position during submission and follow all linking processes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide behavior support and intervention for students, guided by individualized behavior intervention plans
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement best practices in classroom management
• Document and report student progress and behavior data as required
• Support classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement
• Uphold student confidentiality and ethical guidelines at all times
