A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is needed for a contract position providing one-on-one support to a first-grade student with intense behaviors in a general education setting. This role involves collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) focused on attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors. A paraprofessional will also be assigned to assist.
Location: Woodland, CA
Duration: ASAP through June 5, 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral interventions in accordance with the student's BIP
- Monitor and document student progress and behavior
- Collaborate closely with the BCBA and other team members
- Support a positive, inclusive learning environment
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children exhibiting intense behaviors, preferably in a school environment
- Ability to follow behavior plans and collect data accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
