Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Vacaville, California

This contract opportunity for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) offers the chance to work one-on-one with a 1st-grade student in a general education classroom, focusing on positive behavioral interventions and collaboration with a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral support and implement behavior intervention plans (BIP) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Engage in individualized support for a student exhibiting intense behaviors such as attention-seeking and avoidance
• Collaborate daily with a para assigned to the student and school staff to ensure consistency and progress
• Collect and maintain data on student behavior and intervention outcomes
• Adapt strategies to suit the unique needs of the learner and foster an inclusive classroom environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with children exhibiting behavioral challenges strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including BCBA and educators
• Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills
• Passion for supporting children and making a positive impact in their educational journey

Assignment Details:

• Contract position running ASAP through June 5, 2026
• 35 hours per week, following the school schedule
• Work location: Woodland, CA (serving a student from the Vacaville area)
