Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience delivering behavioral interventions in schools or similar environments
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data collection
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to implement behavior plans with consistency, compassion, and professionalism
  • Energetic, adaptable, and reliable nature; comfortable working in dynamic classroom settings
  • Commitment to safeguarding student confidentiality and wellbeing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collect, record, and maintain data on student progress and behavior
  • Provide direct support to students, encouraging positive behavioral choices and fostering independence
  • Collaborate closely with special education staff, teachers, and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
  • Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive school climate
