Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience supporting students with autism or in ASD classroom settings
  • Previous experience in school-based environments preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with students and staff
  • Ability to remain patient, compassionate, and adaptable throughout changing assignments
  • Commitment to providing consistent 1:1 support to students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral interventions and support to students on the autism spectrum
  • Follow student-specific plans under the direction of the school’s protocols
  • Track and document students’ progress and daily activities accurately
  • Collaborate with classroom staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with school personnel regarding student needs and any changes
  • Adapt to adjustments in scheduling and assignments, particularly with ESY and NSY
