Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Warwick, Rhode Island

The student you’ll work closely with has autism, unique communication needs, a short attention span, and boundless energy—making your role essential for their growth and success.

You’ll collaborate daily with a dedicated special education teacher and two paraprofessionals in a classroom of eight students, providing behavioral and communication support. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early intervention, behavior therapy, and inclusive education environments.

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required
• Previous experience supporting children with autism or similar needs preferred
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and apply ABA principles
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Patience, flexibility, and the stamina to work with energetic young children

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct 1:1 applied behavior analysis services to a preschool learner
• Assist the student in developing communication and social skills
• Collect and accurately document data on targeted behaviors and progress
• Collaborate with classroom staff and the special education team to ensure consistent support
• Participate in meetings and ongoing professional development as needed
