Qualifications & Requirements:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is mandatory
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or behavioral setting preferred
- Ability to support students displaying challenging or aggressive behaviors in a calm, patient manner
- Solid communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Reliability and commitment to helping students thrive
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral interventions in alignment with an individualized treatment plan
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and support staff in an adapted (self-contained) classroom setting
- Implement data collection systems to track student progress and behavior
- Assist in adapting classroom activities to suit individual student needs
- Serve as a positive, encouraging presence for your assigned student throughout the school day
- Maintain standard protocols for safety and respond proactively to behavioral escalations
