Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is mandatory
  • Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school or behavioral setting preferred
  • Ability to support students displaying challenging or aggressive behaviors in a calm, patient manner
  • Solid communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
  • Reliability and commitment to helping students thrive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral interventions in alignment with an individualized treatment plan
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers and support staff in an adapted (self-contained) classroom setting
  • Implement data collection systems to track student progress and behavior
  • Assist in adapting classroom activities to suit individual student needs
  • Serve as a positive, encouraging presence for your assigned student throughout the school day
  • Maintain standard protocols for safety and respond proactively to behavioral escalations
