Step into a rewarding contract position as a Registered Behavior Technician supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment near Watsonville, CA for the remainder of the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity offers diverse caseloads, primarily 1:1 or 2:1 with students requiring various levels of support, allowing you to make a direct impact on their growth and success.

Work a standard school schedule, 35-40 hours per week, following the bell schedule, with hourly compensation ranging from $30-34 depending on experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (active or inactive; BCBA supervision provided)
  • At least one year of ABA experience within a K-12 school setting
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Reliable transportation to and from the school

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral interventions to assigned students
  • Track and report on student progress and behavioral data
  • Collaborate closely with BCBA supervisors, teachers, and school staff
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and educational growth within the classroom
  • Implement crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
