This contract-based role supports elementary-aged students in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten Autism Classrooms, and up to 4th grade—serving an Elementary School District near Watsonville and Seaside, CA.

This assignment requires previous experience working with high intensity/magnitude behaviors, as you’ll be supporting students who need specialized attention. The onsite BCBA team is recognized for their exceptional support and in-depth supervision, ensuring you’ll always have expert guidance and collaboration throughout your placement. Many previous RBTs have enjoyed long-tenured assignments due to the positive work culture and robust renewal history.

Start your next chapter on August 3rd, 2026, working 35 hours per week. The district BCBA will consistently provide supervision and professional support.

What You'll Bring:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Demonstrated experience with high intensity/magnitude behavioral needs
  • Background working with elementary-aged students, particularly in autism support settings
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach and openness to BCBA supervision
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans developed in coordination with the BCBA
  • Providing direct 1:1 and group support for students in Transitional Kindergarten–4th grade
  • Collecting data and tracking student progress
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, district behavior specialists, and educational staff
