Elementary 2nd Grade Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Waukesha, Wisconsin

This role specializes in providing behavioral support and intervention for a moderate to severe inclusion setting, making a meaningful impact on young learners’ daily lives. You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and play a vital part in supporting students across 1st and 2nd grades to develop essential academic and social skills.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Demonstrated experience with moderate/severe behavioral needs in a school setting
• Previous work supporting elementary students, particularly Grades K-2
• Experience or familiarity with ISE (Intensive Support Environment) programs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and team members
• Professional, compassionate, and adaptable approach to diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral interventions in both individual and small group settings for students with moderate to severe needs
• Support approximately 12 students as part of your dedicated caseload
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and administrators to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, collect and record data, and update documentation as directed
• Model appropriate strategies for classroom staff, providing guidance and promoting effective behavior management techniques
• Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions on best practices for supporting students’ growth

This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, working from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
