Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary-aged students as a Registered Behavior Technician with a focus on moderate to severe needs. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a direct, positive impact by delivering essential behavioral support and interventions to students in grades K-2. You’ll be instrumental in helping children advance academically and socially, collaborating closely with a supportive staff in a vibrant educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
  • Prior experience working with moderate/severe special education populations, particularly at the elementary level.
  • Comfortable supporting students in grades K, 1, and 2.
  • Skilled in implementing behavioral intervention plans and collecting data for progress monitoring.
  • Strong communication abilities and a collaborative, compassionate approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavior support to students with moderate to severe needs.
  • Work within a caseload of approximately 12 students, ensuring each receives individualized and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, ISE specialists, families, and related service providers.
  • Assist with behavior modification strategies and reinforcements while maintaining safety and a positive classroom environment.
  • Accurately document session notes, progress, and outcomes as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain consistent schedule, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for a total of 37.5 weekly hours.
