Key Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
  • Prior experience delivering behavioral therapy or ABA services, particularly in a school or similar environment, is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, students, and families.
  • Ability to implement support plans and track progress effectively.
  • A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and upholding confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions to students in classroom and/or other school settings.
  • Collect and document behavioral data, maintaining detailed records for analysis and ongoing plan development.
  • Follow treatment protocols developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and participate in the review and adjustment of individual behavior plans.
  • Assist in promoting students’ independence, social skills, and academic engagement.
  • Communicate proactively with supervising clinicians and school personnel regarding student progress and any challenges.
  • Participate in training and renewal activities, including staying current with RBT certification requirements for the upcoming school year (NSY 26/27).
