Key Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.
- Prior experience delivering behavioral therapy or ABA services, particularly in a school or similar environment, is highly valued.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, students, and families.
- Ability to implement support plans and track progress effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining ethical standards and upholding confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 or small group behavioral interventions to students in classroom and/or other school settings.
- Collect and document behavioral data, maintaining detailed records for analysis and ongoing plan development.
- Follow treatment protocols developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and participate in the review and adjustment of individual behavior plans.
- Assist in promoting students’ independence, social skills, and academic engagement.
- Communicate proactively with supervising clinicians and school personnel regarding student progress and any challenges.
- Participate in training and renewal activities, including staying current with RBT certification requirements for the upcoming school year (NSY 26/27).
