Certified High School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Wellborn, Texas

Your skills will be utilized in two distinct capacities: assisting within an elementary behavior support classroom, and providing cross-campus/life skills support for students with more significant behavioral challenges. If you have a background in CPI intervention or experience handling more complex, aggressive caseloads, your specialized skills are especially valued.

Contract assignments are open for the remainder of the school year, with an excellent chance of renewal and summer extension. Schedules run from approximately 7:15 am to 3:30 pm on school days.

What we’re seeking:

• Current RBT certification (required)
• Prior experience supporting behavioral needs in schools (preferred)
• Candidates with both RBT and school-based experience strongly desired
• Experience with CPI or de-escalation techniques highly preferred for cross-campus/life skills role
• Ability to work effectively 1:1 and in classroom group settings
• Reliability, adaptability, and strong communication skills

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct behavioral support within an elementary classroom specializing in behavior management
• Support students with life skills needs, including those with more intense behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
• Utilize data collection and evidence-based practices to promote positive student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
