High School Middle School Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Wellborn, Texas

You’ll serve as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing direct support to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, working 1:1 to make a difference each day. With opportunities for renewal and potential summer assignments, this role offers both stability and the chance to grow your experience in educational settings.

This assignment includes two important areas: elementary school behavior support and cross-campus Life Skills programs with a focus on students who may display more aggressive behaviors. If you have CPI certification or experience managing challenging behaviors, your expertise will be especially valued in these Life Skills settings.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RBT certification required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong background in behavioral support/RBT is most important
• CPI or equivalent training and experience with aggressive caseloads highly desirable for Life Skills support
• Comfort providing 1:1 support across elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Compassionate, patient, and skilled at building rapport with students and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with students to implement behavior intervention plans
• Assist in classrooms supporting both elementary behavioral needs and Life Skills programs
• Document student progress and collaborate with school teams
• Promote safe and supportive learning environments
• Respond to and manage challenging behaviors using de-escalation strategies
