An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) seeking a rewarding, contract-based assignment supporting students in an intermediate school environment. This role focuses on providing 1:1 behavioral and academic support to a 5th-grade student who is transitioning into a new school building. Your expertise will help foster a positive, structured educational experience while making a meaningful difference in the student’s daily life.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
• Prior experience working in school settings or with children preferred
• Comfortable and capable of supporting students who may exhibit aggressive behaviors
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable, flexible, and compassionate team player

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering direct 1:1 behavioral support throughout the student’s daily schedule
• Monitoring and proactively addressing any behavioral challenges
• Documenting behaviors, interventions, and student progress in accordance with best practices
• Collaborating with educational staff to provide consistent academic and instructional assistance
• Implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting the student’s transition into the building environment
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Assignment Details:

• Start immediately and continue through June 3rd
• Contract position with a focus on supporting one 5th-grade student
