Registered Behavior Technician in West Chester, PA

These full-time, contract positions offer 35 hours per week with placements available at two sites—Chester Upland School of Arts (Autistic Support classroom, K-2) and Toby Farms Middle School (for male RBT candidates). Start dates are immediate, with contracts running through June 10, 2027. What you’ll bring:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (must be maintained outside the district if supervision is not available)
• Prior school-based RBT experience (experience with SPED and behaviorally challenged students essential)
• Ability to adapt to changing classroom needs and effectively support assigned caseloads
• Reliable transportation to commute to your assigned site
• Willingness to obtain or complete all PA state clearances
• Strong references and professional reliability
• Comfort and effectiveness working in fast-paced, urban educational settings
• Male RBT candidates are required for Toby Farms Middle School positions
• Ability to provide RBT certification upfront for streamlined credentialing

Your key responsibilities:

• Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions under classroom supervision
• Support individual student learning and growth for autistic support and special needs classrooms (K-2 at elementary and middle school levels)
• Maintain daily progress notes and participate in team meetings as needed
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and staff to adapt to student needs
