Registered Behavior Technician in West Orange, NJ

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Experience implementing ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) techniques in schools or pediatric settings
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) a plus
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and families
• Compassionate, patient mindset and commitment to supporting student growth
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans with attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to students under supervision of a BCBA
• Collect and record accurate data on student behaviors and responses
• Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans in classroom or school settings
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and staff to promote positive outcomes
• Support communication development, social interactions, and daily living skills
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance your skills
