Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Westland, Michigan

Two immediate opportunities are available—one providing dedicated 1:1 support and the other working within an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classroom—both offering a full 37.5-hour workweek. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Prior experience in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices and data collection
• Strong communication skills for engaging with students, teachers, and families
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability for supporting students with special needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, depending on assigned role
• Collect data on student behaviors and progress toward goals
• Deliver reinforcement and proactive behavior strategies as outlined in student plans
• Assist with daily classroom activities, transitions, and socialization opportunities
• Communicate regularly with teaching staff and support team members regarding student progress
