This full-time, contract position supports elementary or middle school students and requires a proactive, adaptable professional with a passion for student success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
  • Current Delaware PARA Permit.
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, with a strong preference for those who have worked with elementary students.
  • Proficiency in supporting students needing physical intervention strategies.
  • Background in collecting behavioral and instructional data within a classroom environment.
  • Willingness to assist in all classroom needs, including regular support in bathroom duties such as toileting, diapering, and hygiene.
  • Ability to fulfill the full workday on-site, during elementary (8:45 AM – 4:15 PM) or middle school hours (7:50 AM – 3:20 PM), with no part-time or modified schedules.
  • Team-oriented mindset, flexible to adapt to changes in classroom assignments as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group behavioral support for students with autism.
  • Implement and document behavioral and instructional strategies as directed by supervising staff.
  • Assist students with personal care and hygiene.
  • Collect, track, and report behavioral data to guide student progress.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and staff to best meet student needs.
  • Maintain reliable transportation and strict adherence to scheduling.

Contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027. Candidates must be prepared to undergo a brief Google Meets interview and provide documentation of required certifications and previous experience.
