A rewarding opportunity is now available for a compassionate and knowledgeable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in an educational setting near Wilmington, DE. This contract position starts immediately and lasts for six weeks, with potential for extension. The role offers 20 hours per week, split between assisting a brother and sister. Your expertise will play a key role in collecting and documenting behavioral data, supporting student growth, and working collaboratively with staff and families.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings
  • Strong data collection and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to follow behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and positive behavior support strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Reliability and a proactive, compassionate demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral support to two students, dividing time equally
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention strategies with consistency
  • Accurately collect, monitor, and report behavioral data to guide ongoing interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to foster positive outcomes
  • Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment at all times
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
  • Adapt to changing needs and schedules as directed by the supervisory team
