Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) | Wilmington, North Carolina

In this contract opportunity, you’ll work closely with students in an educational setting, utilizing your expertise to foster growth in both behavioral and academic areas. The assignment is based near Wilmington, North Carolina, at a welcoming school on the south side of Brunswick. Your commitment and specialized skills will be essential in helping students reach their full potential in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
• Previous experience providing 1:1 behavioral support to students preferred
• Familiarity with implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt quickly and respond with patience and empathy to diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with a student, providing consistent 1:1 behavioral support throughout the school day
• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress and behavior incidents
• Communicate regularly with team members and participate in meetings as needed to discuss student goals and interventions
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
